Q: No fetal pole anyone been here?

So today I had an ultrasound and from ges sac size I am 5 weeks 6 days. There was a yolk sac but no fetal pole, I always thought at 5 weeks there was a fetal pole.

I have another ultrasound in 13 days but would like to know has this happened to anyone and they still had a viable pregnancy? I've had 2 mcs before, one was a bo, and only one viable pregnancy so my anxiety and depression is starting to come back.

I know my last mc, the bo, there was no yolk sac thats where im confused. Im really hoping theres a baby and trying to keep calm. With my son I had horrible anxiety and depression from my previous mcs. Im just worried its happening again. It took us 1.5 years to get pregnant and just dont want to go through that.

I had one that due due to extreme cramping, they wanted to make sure the pregnancy was in the right spot. But yes very common not to see the fetal pole that early. Just don't stress over it and try to stay positive. I know how hard that is but stress and anxiety are not healthy. When do you have your next ultrasound? How far will you be? Not good with days. I know it's almost two weeks away, by then they will be able to see baby and heartbeat. May still be too early to hear it though.

Wouldnt worry. I had and ultrasound at 6 weeks due to cramping and bleeding. They said the same thing. Went back at 11 weeks and everything was just fine. Im 22 weeks now and have had minimal problems.
