My number was a 6 yesterday at 9dp6dt. So low! I have to go back for another beta on the 19th June, keep on taking my climaval and pessaries, but nurse reckons I will have a chemical pregnancy. I just want to know if there is a chance the HCG level will rise? Has anyone had a healthy pregnancy after such a low first beta?

I have another set of blood work tomorrow and ultrassound to measure sac on tuesday. they are saying i am 5 weeks, but i am thinking more like 4 weeks. they told me not to expect to see a heartbeat on tuesday. good luck

Here's mine, and they said everything is fine. It really is the 2nd draw that matters:
9/26: 17
9/30: 116
10/3: 463
I must have ovulated later than I thought because they are saying I am 4.5 weeks yet the calendar says I am 5.5 weeks. They didn't see a sac or anything yesterday but they said it was too early.

I don't have a success story, but am going through the same thing. Had very faint positives 9/15 and 9/17. First HCG was 9/17 and was only 10. Then, 2nd lab draw was 9/19 (day of missed period) only went up to 12. My Dr doesn't want to worry yet because she says it is so early. Having another draw tomorrow and am hoping, praying, wishing with everything I have.
Just wanted to let you know that you are not alone and I will be thinking of you. Hope both of our situations turn out to be good and we can be an exception, not the rule. Hugs!

Thanks all for the encouraging thoughts. Today's test went from 16 to 22.9. I am going back on Friday to see if there is an increase. the nurse says it's consistant with a chemical pregnancy. Gosh, I hope she is wrong. we have been on this journey for 2.5 yrs and already suffered one miscarriage last year :(

I was literally at a 5 at 3 weeks. So they tested me again the next week and I was at 68. I had four HCG draws this pregnancy. Im 25 weeks today, and have a strong little boy beating my inerds up.

I agree, the second number matters the most. I've heard of sooo many situations where the first beta was super low and then the next draw was way better. First numbers are all so different so it's hard to say. It also depends greatly on how far along you are. If you literally just found out and the your BFP was super duper faint then at 16 isn't that strange. If you've had a few days of BFP's then it might be a little different. Either way, don't stress till your next draw. Fingers crossed that all is well

It's really hard to say without a second measurement. Implantation could have just been on the later side for you.
