Q: Is it usual to feel dizzy and faint?

I walked into town during my lunch break today and when I was standing in a queue, I suddenly felt very hot, clammy, sick and dizzy and my vision went blurred - I have never in my life fainted but I really felt that I was going to - although the feeling passed within about 20 seconds and I was fine. I am 19 weeks and just wondered if this is common? I am in the middle of moving house and have prob overdone it a little with painting and cleaning & packing...and now I have my worry head on!

I'm only 6 weeks and have had no major symptoms until yesterday when I became lightheaded and was alternating cold and clammy/sweaty. I was shaking and seeing stars, but the weird thing is I had just come back from lunch, so not sure it was blood sugar related. I looked into others' accounts and it seems this isn't that uncommon, just another one of the perks I guess!

Perhaps you have low iron, I had the exact same symptoms when i was pegnant and found out i had an iron deficiency. I would ask your doctor & see what his opinion is.

Yeah I've been feeling like that a lot, seems to be when I'm tired or over hungry. I feel for you moving house etc we are in process of finalising our house won't b in til end of dec start of jan and baby due end of feb. Try relax and take plenty of breaks and loads of water. You have prob over done it as previous post suggests.

Good luck x

Could be a drop in blood pressure or sugar levels that made you feel dizzy. It sounds like you may have overdone it moving, as well. I am the same way and want to get things done so I don't have to worry about them. Try to take it easy and check in with your doctor. Mine had me get a blood pressure monitor to keep track daily after I had a panic attack. Good luck and feel better!
