Q: 36w4d & labor no where in sight?

I will be 37 weeks this Thursday (1st baby) and have no sight of any labor signs...

No mucus plug, no Braxton hicks at all, no contractions....nothing!

I feel like she is never going to come :( and so discouraged...anyone else ever been in this position?

Yep, it's still super early. I went to 42 weeks last pregnancy and still had to induced. You may have a while to wait yet! Best of luck.

I'm 37 weeks myself and no mucus plug or anything, but Braxton Hicks have been bothering me.... every woman is different, and it is still early for labor signs anyways, I would think. She could come past due, that happens a lot, so I've read!! I know it's starting to get frustrating and we are getting impatient to meet our little ones, but we still really have a few weeks to go! Hang in there =)

My first gave no sign at all until the night before she was born, 41 weeks exactly! 36 weeks is still early especially with a first.

Yeah like the others said and sometimes there won't be any sign. With my first I never dilated till in hard labor and lost my plug that day. You definitely want your baby to bake longer ;). GL

Definitely still early, I'm 38+2 and still no mucus plug or regular contractions. Baby will come when she's good and ready! Good luck!

I want to add, it's very normal to feel impatient and ready to have your baby in the last few weeks of pregnancy. It's not easy!

Like Jennavee said, it is still early. The baby will come eventually lol I'm tired of waiting to give birth too but we're almost there!!! We just have to be patient. There is nothing wrong with you. My first baby was born at 40 weeks and 3 days.

You aren't even full term yet, so give it time. Baby really does know when the time is right! Give it a few more weeks! I promise pregnancy can't last forever! :)

It's still early! Sometimes spontaneous labor really is spontaneous and comes out of nowhere! Try not to stress, give it a few more weeks!! *hugs*
