Q: TMI Alert..... 17 weeks pregnant, had 2 UTIs and now a Bladder Infection, WTH??

Every time I see my OB (which is every 2 weeks due to my history of MC) they ask for a urine sample. They have found a UTI twice, the first time 1 bacteria, the second time 2 bacteria. Now they found a bladder infection. What is up? I drink a lot of water. My hubby and I were not allowed intercourse until week 14, and have only a few times weeks 14-17. Anyone else experience multiple UTI/Bladder Infections??

I havent dealt with multiple uti's. Ive had them before and the doctor always told me to make sure you are drinking plenty of water and I also try to drink cranberry juice( not from concentrate) every week. Alot of people mix this in with their drinking water. Also I was told to try and use the restroom after you have sex that way you flush your system, and to try to empty your bladder completely. Unfortunately they say that we are more prone to uti's during to pregnancy because our bladder doesnt empty completely sometimes. Sorry I couldnt be of more help, I hope you feel better because I know they suck!
