Q: Intelligender Test

Hi ladies I was wondering if any taken it and got the right answer?. I picked one up at walgreens but cant take it until I am off my progestrone.

Yeah... it would make sense to get a false reading. It might have something to do with one gender produces more progesterone than the other. Since the test rely on the amount of progesterone produced by the fetus, taking progesterone will alter your result. Meh! but nothing is 100% guaranteed anyways sooooo... have fun :D

it says not to take the test if you're on progesterone or have pcos. i took it just for fun b/c i meet both of those conditions. i think i took it around 11-12 weeks and the result was boy. i had my gender u/s at 15 weeks and i'm pregnant with a girl :) so, in my case, the test was wrong ... maybe b/c i was on progesterone and have pcos ... but maybe not.

I dont know why it affects the test it say on the box women who are on progestroe they dont recommed the test to them until 10 days off the pill

Awwww I didn't bother with it. I was tempted but read the review and lots of the test were inaccurate so I spend the $ on some baby items. I'm curious to know about how progesterone might affect the result though.

Wonder what the progesterone does to the result?? I wanted to use it too, but im also on progesterone and am hoping the dr doesnt take me off it :/ guess i'll just have to wait 10 more weeks until my gender ultrasound.
