The doctor used a doppler on me as he was hunting round and in the end i told him to stop cuz he was pressing so hard. After my tummy was sensitive to the touch. The baby is so well protected in there that pushing wouldn't do any harm to the baby.

I always find the dopler at the docs uncomfortable and also when they press down while feeling for position etc.

I don't have a home doppler but due to early compications (that all worked out great so far we are 29 weeks) we had quite a few ultrasounds and I was sore afterwards from them pushing on my stomach for a day or two. If your that worried call your doctor but I'd say as long as it feels better tomorrow that's a good sign. We also had a previous loss so I can understand the nerves as the doctor kept telling me they are tough and well padded=)
