I work at a child development center and have people ask a lot of questions that I never thought of but would like to know. Some common ones are what is the curriculum that the teachers have. Can the parents bring food and if not what kind of food do they serve (processed or cooked food) or formula do they use? What is the teacher to child/infant ratio? Cost of course is a factor. A few parents have asked what kind of background checks do the staff have including the clean up crew if they are there when the children are there. You might also want to visit places to see how they run things in person and meet the staff. Those are the most common ones I can think of off of the top of my head. Hope that helped. Good luck!
