Well, she's not concerned to the point like oh my.. you can't lose weight... lol.. she's just concerned about me still throwing up, as I am 18W 1 D also. But, she said some women go through the morning sickness all through their pregnancy and she would just like me on protein shakes, just to make sure baby is getting enough but she only wants me to have one a day, no more. Thanks for the answers! :)

I am obese and lost 26 lbs and I am 18w1d and just gained back my first lb 2 weeks ago and have been steady since but belly is growing out. My dr only wants me to gain between 0-5lbs of my pre-pregnancy weight. I am 244 now. She is THRILLED that I am losing weight. I didn't even have much morning sickness at all so mine was all pregnancy hormone loss (look up HCG diet). Idk why your doctor is so concerned unless you aren't as heavy set as you think or maybe because of the rapid weight loss?
I hope everything works out but my dr isn't concerned too much with weight loss for me and I am 244.

I lost 12lbs with my daughter, only gained 17lbs in total my whole pregnancy and she came out perfect. Some women lose weight. Honestly as long are your baby is growing and developing properly I wouldn't worry too much about. Just try to eat a high carb/ high protein diet. Both can put on bulk.

my sil is 23 wks. Shes lost over 30 and still dropping. Her dr suggested she needed to eat anything that was high in calories and fat. But i know in the first trimester youre suppose to lose weight. Hope things get better
