Q: a month late hcg of 20

My period is a month late and I kept getting negative urine tests so I went for a serum test and my hcg was 20.. I have to wait till Monday to get another test done.. Is my pregnancy abnormal or did I ovulate late?? Is there any pregnancy disorder that causes that low of an hcg for a month?? Also I just took a clearblue digital that said pregnant 1-2 weeks..

I was also going to speculate that you ov'd late. I think many digi's require a level of 50 or higher to detect pregnancy. Ideally, hcg will double every 48-72 hours in early pregnancy, so it sounds like that's happening for you. Congrats!

I agree, an hcg level of 20 is pregnant. You are just very early. Chances are you ovulated late, sometimes cycles can be very irregular. I ovulated late the cycle I conceived, I wouldn't have known it if I wasn't temping and using an ovulatory prediction kit. Congratulations and fingers crossed that your numbers rise at your next blood draw. :)

You probably ovulated way later than you thought. That's what happened with my son. I didn't get a positive test until around cycle day 50. I ended up ovulating 2 weeks later than I thought I had, as my body delayed it for some reason. My first HCG with my son was 22. You are probably just super early. Congrats!
