We're halfway there! Omg i cant believe how the time flies! My tummy keeps getting bigger and bigger and the more people notice, the more it becomes real. I was hoping i could fit in at least my regular shirts for a bit longer, but im running out of space in those too, and i don't want to stretch them all out!
Im feeling movements a little more regular now, but baby is still stubborn when DH wants to try and feel something! He's really looking forward to it, and this anterior placenta is not helping!
We went out to eat with my in-laws for their anniversary on Saturday and actually had a nice time. Untill my brother in laws girlfriend asked if we picked names yet. I said yes, and told everyone what we chose. My MIL says WELL I THOUGHT OF A GREAT NAME IF ITS A GIRL, LACEY. ***no offense to anyone named Lacey or has a child named Lacey or knows anyone named Lacey*** so my husband says to me, WHAT DO YOU THINK OF WHEN YOU THINK OF LACEY? and i blurted out A STRIPPER? ahahah oooopsie...i shoulda kept that one inside....so later she was asking if we've gotten anything for the baby yet. We already purchased a crib and the car seat and stroller. Nothing flashy (well the stroller was kinda expensive, we got one of those BOBS but it came with a free car seat so we thought it was a great deal) My husband was showing her pics and she was like OH THAT'S CUTE...and when she says THAT'S CUTE that means she doesn't like it...hahah my goodness woman what do you want!Then she asked what my parents were helping with (like they HAVE to help or something) and i told her they bought the crib and mattress. so she started going on and on about changing tables and all kinds of other things i think are unnecessary and we just don't have the space for.
This lady has been hunting for a bigger place for us...unsolicited of course. I mean, its nice and everything that she is doing this but she is butting in WAY too much. She called my husband Saturday to talk about some duplex she saw, and talked to him for about a half hour about it. She hasnt seen the inside or anything yet. We took a drive by the place and its nothing really special. Its one story, and looks kinda small from the outside, its close to the road which i dont like and has no fence around the yard, there's no basement (we live in a tornado prone area and that's kinda important to me)...ALSO if you look outside the window, you can see the cemetery which creeps me the hell out! So again, she calls him Sunday and jabbers on for about and HOUR to him about this place. My goodness woman! OH I CAN SEE YOU GUYS LIVING THERE, OH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH. Still, not knowing what its like inside or anything. We're going to go look at it today..i halfway hope that its garbage just we can say so. Malicious i know, but c'mon!
Another thing that bothers me is her insistence on celebrating our wedding anniversary with us. I don't know about you guys, but i believe that's between a husband and a wife! My husband will NOT say anything to her about it, and im going to have to be the one come April when she will be so insistent on knowing what we planned.
I know all these issues are SO petty, but i cannot help how i feel!
