My Due Date: June 24, 2013I have given birth!

37 Weeks today! During my Dr's appointment on Friday, she told me i was 80% effaced and 2cm dilated. She said i should take it easy and choose only ONE thing to do a day because she'd much rather see me having this baby at 39 weeks as opposed to this week. She said no matter what anyone tells you, the baby's lungs are not FULLY mature until 39 weeks. Hey, however long the baby needs is how long the baby needs. Im not feeling horrible and im not miserable and ill be the last person to say I WANT IT OUT NOW! (im sure that will change when labor hits!) She's convinced ill never make it to my due date, so it looks like ill have this little one sometime around my birthday if she's correct!
The swelling in my feet really sucks, I had Jury Duty today and couldn't find any shoes that fit me last night that would be appropriate..the swelling went down today so i was just able to fit into a pair of loafers. Jury duty isn't so bad. It forced me to relax and not try to over exert myself, which i have a tendency of doing. My hubby is being awesome and cleaned the whole apartment yesterday so i wouldn't have to do any heavy cleaning during the week.
I haven't really had any contractions, just some cramping like once every other day and its usually located near one of my hip bones. Im pretty sure the baby is posterior, because i can feel hand movements in the front of my abdomen near my pubic bone.
My next appointment is on Friday, so we'll see if Ive progressed anymore!
