I am obease and i am fat, according to the calulater i should only gain 11 pounds during pregnancy (i would really like that to be true)

So for the health of me and baby i will resolve to cut out soda, and eat at least 3 serves of fruit and 2 of vegtables a day and (i wish i had enough will poer to say switch to low fat low sugur yougurt and ice cream but it would be a hollow lie. surely if i am eating more friut and veges i should eat less rubbish and bad for me food.

having been on loads of diets before i know what helps me and what sets me up to fail

so in order to succeed i shall fill up water bottle and leave in fridge, in the car, by my bed so i drink more water.
i will cut carrot sticks and core and slice apples and leave in the fridge ready to eat, i have lots of salsa for dipping carrot sticks and couliflower sticks (i hate broccoli uncooked but love it steamed. i love corn and its good for fiber (must add to grocery list so i can have some on hand)

i guess upping the exercise would be benefical to, but when i feel tired , dizzy and unwell thats not really an option.

being overweight when pregnant puts mother and baby at higher risk for certian things, gestational diabeties and c sections ect (obviously i am not meant to lose weight but if i can not gain any myself thats gotta be better than stacking it on and putting me and baby at more risk)

its bummer that because im allready fat as im not going to have that adorable little bump (like on tv) and that so many of you get to to post (unless i am having octuplets then surely i would get big enough for the bump to be noticeable)

I'm large as well and my doctor told me to only gain 9lbs during the pregnancy. I'm 27w3d and at my appointment last week I had only gained a little over 4. Basically I just try to eat little bits throughout the day.

I eat breakfast around 6, then around 9 or 10 I eat some yogurt or some pretzels, lunch is around 1 and I usually have a frozen lean meal thingy... then another snack around 3 before leaving work (usually applesauce) and thena snack around5ish when I get home anddinner sometime after 6.

It is hard... but I just try my best to eat only when I am hungry and try to limit it to healthy stuff. That isn't to say that I don't occasionally have chocolate or ice cream or something... just tryingto keep it in moderation.

*hug*
