I really wish the middle of the night anxiety would end

Another night of interrupted sleep. Woke up around 2:15a and couldn't get back to sleep until after 4:00a. I hate waking up, then of course I need to use the restroom. Then my mind starts racing. It's like mental torcher. 81 days or less until Alek is here, and I have so much cleaning and preperation to do. Jamie texted me Friday with some bs like if I needed anything after the baby shower let him know. Why should I? He doesn't give a rat's ass about this kid. He's just trying to look good in front of his new gf. I just text him back and told him that being there for his son was more important than things. I can't tell you the level of loathing I have for that guy.

Comment from gp**** » Posted Mar. 4, 2013 9:39am I suffer from this quite a lot when stressed. I try and have a big relaxation routine - so before bed the phone goes off, big bath with a book that'll transport me else where, then into bed. When led down get comfortable then have a 'wave of relaxation' so you relax all the muscles in your toes, then your foot, then your calves etc, moving all the way up your body. Finally I just focus on my breathing, count in for 3 and out for 3.... hope it helps x |
