Another hospital visit :(

So at 13 weeks I've still had quite severe nausea and vomiting and yesterday I almost collapsed at work. My mum took me to the hospital again and I had two bags of IV fluids and a different type of anti nausea med. So now I have a prescription for that medication as it seemed to work well for me. I've also been started on a reflux medication because my stomach is making too much acid. The doctors yesterday kept saying it's likely I have Hyperemesis Gravidarum. I really hope this stops soon but one of the nurses I had yesterday is 28 weeks pregnant and still struggling.

On another note I'm having a lot of trouble peeing. They tested yesterday for a UtI but didn't find anything so now we think it's my retroverted uterus causing problems. I pee and then straight away have to pee again and then when I am completely empty I still feel the urge to go. At the moment I'm up about 10 times a night and I have to lean forward, backwards, sideways just to try and get everything out.

It's worth going through this for the baby but I could definitely live without it :p

I had Hyperemesis it absolutely sucks. The meds helped, I took Zofran and Zantac. It finally tapered off around 18-19 weeks. It was very hard to stay hydrated. It could be your vomiting related to trouble peeing. I felt I had no bladder control, I would gag and pee in my pants from the force of it. Try Vitamin B6 as well. Good luck to you!
