19 week Morphology Scan - It's a Boy!
By Gymnast36 » Posted Jan. 28, 2016 3:01am - 421 views - 3 comments
Had our Morphology scan today, I was excited and nervous all at the same time. Baby looked good, we have to go back and have another scan on the heart because we couldn't see it that well because of baby's position. The subchorionic hematoma appears to be gone and the placenta isn't covering my cervix but is still quite low. I've had a lot of sharp pains in my crotch lately and today we caught baby kicking me right in the cervix on the ultrasound so that explains that. Baby held still long enough to get a between the legs shot and the sonographer said it looks like a boy! At first I was a little disappointed that I'm not having a girl but now I'm so excited to have a little boy. Fiancé is especially excited as he's a very big sports fan. Still feeling nauseous and vomiting bile in the mornings thanks to my Hyperemesis Gravidarum but I'm glad it doesn't seem to be hurting the baby.
