97 Days To Go!

With this being my last pregnancy I am having such mixed emotions with my final months approaching. I am so anxious to meet my little girl but I am sad that this will be the last time I carry one of my beautiful children around for 9 months. I am still amazed that after 2 spinal surgeries as a kid, one leaving me paralyzed on my whole right side for months that I was able to successfully carry around all my children with minor pain AND give labor to 3 out of 4 naturally with epidurals. BLESSING! When I went in for my 26 week appointment we talked about having my tubes tied. I was sure before I went and then my doctor proceeded to ask me 3 times if I was sure. Making me not so sure. But after talking with my honey we have decided that 4 children is plenty. Not to mention we have 2 of each. Couldn't have split it any better. He also reminded me how much I love to travel and said "If you keep popping them out we won't be able to go anywhere!" lol. Which is very true. We also want to start building a home and if we have any more kids that won't really be in our budget. So all in all Lailah will be the official baby of our family. I'm very excited to see her. Although I'm starting to feel a little guilty that I haven't bought her anything yet and there's less then 100 days to go! I saved all the clothes from my oldest daughter so we have plenty we just need a few onsies and sleepers of her own. Not to mention a going home outfit. I'm hoping after the holidays I can get out and catch some deals at Carters, Osh Kosh and Baby Gap. For now I will just count my blessings and wait for our precious baby girl to arrive!

I haven't done much for Caroline either, aside from cleaning out her room. It must be hard being the youngest, Mom and Dad are just tired by the time they come along. ;-) |

I'm scheduling my tubal at my 6 week check up on the 28th. It's a hard decision to make and I still find myself asking if I'm really sure this is it for me. (I don't think my sanity could handle more than 3 children, but then again...BABY! lol.) |
