Current situation-Sitting at work on an exercise ball.

So Sunday was supposed to be our hospital tour. I was really excited because I have had my last 3 at another hospital in town and switching insurances caused the hospital to change, which is fine. I live in a nice city so all 3 local hospitals are very nice. I was even more excited because they had a tour that allows siblings to come along and see where their new brother or sister will be staying when they arrive. Soo Sunday arrives and so did all the families with their kids. We wait for 10 minutes, 1 lady goes and checks and they say the tour is at 4:15 instead of 4, we wait some more. It's finally 4:45 and my patience has thinned out due to the fact that A- We have the kids with and B- because I could have been at home still cleaning carpets! I call the number that we are supposed to call for cancelations and the lady isn't sure what happened to the tour guide and told us we could hang out and see if she shows for the 5pm tour. Umm no thank you. She also said she would reschedule us. How when I'm due in 2 weeks?! I guess I"ll be going through the ER!

I went to my appointment Wednesday excited because I was sure I was making progress and baby would be coming sooner than later. Nope. 1 cm, she is not engaged and my cervix is hardly thinning out. Waah! I know it doesn't mean much but I would still like to have been further along. My last pregnancy I had no progress at all at 40 weeks and after baby dancing my water broke and I was at 7cm when we got to the hospital which was a 10 minute car ride. So there is hope that things can change over night.

I took it upon myself to visit the chiropractor today for an adjustment. I'm feeling a lot better and I'm hoping it helps her get into my hips. I still have 10 days that will probably drag on by but that's okay. I at least know my days are numbered. <3

That sucks about your tour :( Are you delivering at Meriter?? I remember seeing tours with kids and parents when we did ours, which is why I thought it might be the same place. You don't have long to go now! Excited to see your next update -- hopefully it is a birth announcement. :) :)

Everything could happen VERY quickly. I had the same situation with my last one. Nothing was moving along, and then boom, my water broke and I delivered my baby girl less than 3 hours later. Don't let it get to you. Baby will be there SO soon!
