20 Week Ultrasound Results

We're having a "ladybug"! That is exactly how the ultrasound tech broke the news to us. So we are adding another girl to the family! We haven't told our kids yet as we are waiting until we go home for Christmas and share it with the entire family. We want the family to be able to see our children's reactions. Of course my son wants a boy and my daughter wants a girl. They know that we know and it's driving them crazy. It's kind of cute. I don't know if we will be able to keep it quiet. I've almost slipped up a few times, and my husband asked me tonight if we should just tell them. This is going to be so hard! Anyway, there's the news. Now onto the baby name hunt.

They'll say "I think it's a girl" or "I think it's a boy." My reply is "Okay, I'll tell you. I'm 100% sure it's a ….Baby!" Lol. "I'll follow it up with "I know it's not a penguin, it's not a bear or a lion, I'm positive it's a baby". That causes my daughter to cross her arms and growl at me. Haha.

I found out on a Friday when my daughter was with her Dad for the weekend and I was going to wait to tell her when she got home on Sunday night ...but she was so excited she begged and begged to know on Saturday when she called me. I gave in lol.

He like names like Agnus and Lois :/ I like cute girl names, and european names (My Dad's family are full blooded Italians). So I think it's going to take a long time for us to come up with something. But yes, I think Layla is adorable!
