Stressed and weepy :(

Last Wednesday I had my 34 week appointment, at which I was told baby girl was head down, but in a posterior position. The midwife told me to spend 30 minutes a day on my hands and knees to get baby to face my back. I had been working on that for only a few days, and then this weekend came, which was full of stress and fights with my husband and children. I was stressed/depressed all weekend and even burnt my arm pretty bad while preparing breakfast one morning. Everything seemed to be going wrong. On Monday, my husband and I finally made up (twice, if you know what I mean). I did all of the work and we got pretty into it. 30 minutes after the second round of "making up", I felt baby's hiccups, but realized the were under my ribs! Holy crap, she flipped full on breech!!! I am 35 weeks, and this should not be happening! The midwife had said that the baby shouldn't flip breech this late…. but she did! My doulas gave me some advice on positions to get into and stretches to do to encourage her to get back into a head down position. They also told me a couple of techniques to use to get my uterus to relax, which is probably what made her breech. I stressed my uterus during intercourse. Nothing has worked so far, and I am really stressing out. Every time I feel her head under my ribs, or at my side (she has been able to turn herself transverse a few times, but then goes back to breech) I cry, and get mad at myself. Heck, after that weekend my husband didn't even deserve sex, but I gave in, and even gave it my all. Now I've messed up my baby's position for birth. I'm terrified she won't turn to a head down anterior position in time for delivery. My family and I are praying she does!

Oh yes, girl, after two weeks in head-down position, Caroline has now decided to flip again at 38 weeks. I'm sure you've done a ton of research on getting baby back in line but, if you want to swap tips, shoot me a message. Until then, I'll be over there standing on my head. ;-)

I would talk to Amanda. I know she is in the same position right now with Caroline being breech. Maybe you guys could trade tips and positions to help turn baby. I also heard a chiropractors can help turning baby. You are 35 weeks so there still is hope to get her turned back head down. I know it's hard not to stress but things will work itself out and what ever that has to be done to keep baby safe and healthy will be what's best. (sending hugs.)
