30 Week Appointment

I passed my glucose test with flying colors. Apparently the OB was surprised at how well my pancreas is functioning because she said my numbers were fantastic! I gained 6 pounds in 4 weeks which apparently is okay at this stage. I feel that the pounds are packing on quicker than they did with my daughter. Not going to stress if the OB thinks it is okay. My BP is normal as always, 107/73. Baby's heartrate was in the low 140s and hopefully keeps at a steady pace downwards as he gets bigger.

The results from the sonogram are good. They are not moving my due date which for me is good especially since I want a VBAC and I have a history of late babies. My fluid is on the high side of normal which is some of the reason for the weight and my belly being so big. He is a big baby but he is measuring in the 74th percentile so not massive.

I start seeing the OB every 2 weeks now which makes me feel like the end is in sight. So funny to think the weeks I have left are now in the single digits! Baby shower is 11/3 and I feel like I have done nothing to prepare. It is also killing me inside not to buy anything until afterwards! LOL! We will start working on the nursery here soon but I have to haul the junk out of the room first. It has become a storage closet. Finally also decided on a theme. Target has bedding with a guitar on the comforter and it says Rockstar above it. Guess that is what I am going with since Daddy is a guitar/bass player...and it is how we met!
