I love Macy Rae! It's so pretty! I know a few Macy's and it seems the easiest way to spell it so people won't get confused!

I agree with the teacher below...Macie. Maci , though a sweeter spelling, could easily be mispronounced as Mackie and Macy makes me think of the dept. store.
I like the name Janette more, but Macie Janette could be a mouthful, and Rae works better. It's a smoother combination. Alternatively, if you like Janette more, what about Macie Jane?

As a school teacher (substitute teacher) I would go with Macie. On my first day with a class I would pause wondering if Maci was pronouced Maki (now a days you never know and it sucks for the kid to have name pronounced wrong, yet again, during morning attendance). Macie just confirms a soft 'c' in the name!
