I have had an eating disorder in the past. I think it is one of those things that you never completely get over; whenever I have a really bad day, I can feel those nasty little voices and negative thoughts creeping in to my head again from whatever dark rock they live under. I am coping with pregnancy weight gain by eating very, very healthy foods as always (I don't eat junk), not stepping on a scale except at the doctor's office, and maintaining my exercise regime. My body will naturally start to put on a few pounds, but I know that if I remain healthy, the weight will come off more quickly and easily afterward. When all else fails, I visualize my body as it will be a few months after the birth: life will go on and I will get my body back. I like to meditate on this and remind myself that weight gain is just a passing phase. I still don't feel pretty, but at least I'm getting through it.

I don't need a damn counselor, I got over it on my own. And I know for a fact my "issues" won't come back. I want to know if it's normal to just eat healthy and myself still gaining some. Like WTF, I'm trying to maintain my weight till I need to gain any.

What a rude girl. This is not the way to get others to help you. There are so many kind women on this site supporting each other and taking the time out to comfort each other.. I guess maybe this site isn't for you? Which is a real shame because I think you could benefit from it and a little friendship. Sorry we couldn't help you...
