Q: Heartbeat to predict gender myth?

I'm 14 weeks and had my doctor's appt. this morning. We got to hear the heartbeat on the doppler and it was at 154. I know the whole girls heartbeats are faster than boys is just a myth but would 154 be more of a girl or boy?

My baby's has been in the 150's since about 15 weeks, but before that it was in the 130's. I'm having a girl. But, when my aunt was pregnant with one of my cousins the heartrate was in the 120-130's range, and they told her over and over again it was a boy.. she came out a girl =) I don't trust it.
