Q: When did you need/want to start wearing maternity pants/jeans?

I am almost 6 weeks pregnant and so bloated that it hurts to try and go the day with my regular jeans and pants buttoned up tight. Then, after I eat...all holy heck breaks loose and I am extremely uncomfortable. I went out and bought 2 pairs of maternity jeans (skinny and bootcut) with full panels and I IMMEDIATELY felt so much better.

Is a little under 6 weeks too early to start switching my pants over to maternity?

When did everyone else start to feel uncomfortable in their regular pants/jeans?

I was uncomfortable by 6weeks. I knew it was bloating and not the baby but it didn't matter my clothes were snug and I hate snug pants! I didn't buy maternity pants until 3 months because that was when we finally told people and as nice as todays maternity pants are...they are still noticable and people would have caught on!

I am much more comfortable now at 14 weeks in them...I don't so much have a belly yet but am 15 pounds bigger somewhere. My problem is they are too big still. The smaller size was too snug and I knew would drive me crazy in the coming weeks so I went with the medium size...now I spend all day pulling them up...but they are not tight so all is good!!

If you need them now buy them...just keep in mind you will get a lot bigger so make sure they don't fit perfectly now or you'll be buying new ones in a few months!!!
