And thank you octivia, you bring up a good point about touching the weed, but that is why i dont brake up the leaves with my fingers. I had forgotten that the paper could soak chemicals into my pores too until u mentioned that. I had a friend who knew someone who was on probation and came in contact with cocaine on his fingers and tested positive for using it and went to jail for violating his probation... so, that prooves that touching things can get into your blood stream. All this is making me think more and more about EVERYTHING I touch. I guess its a bad idea and I will just have to tell him to role his own stinking weed.. we only have a 7 months left and he can deal. And after the baby comes, he will be used doing it himself by then :) Thanks guys!!

Yea, I was asking about licking the tobacco paper, not smoking the weed... I quit cigs and weed since the moment I found out I was preggers. I used to smoke weed recreationally but no more than once or twice a week if that but DH smokes every day and happens to like the way I role the weed lol I dont touch the weed really, just the tobacco paper because we have a grinder so i dont have to brake the leaves down and i put it into the paper using an index card. he smokes everything outside the house now so i dont breathe anything in... My question was in the safety of licking the paper coz I have heard preg women cant chew tobacco either and I am not so sure its a good idea bc it may contain chemicals and nicotine also, if the paper is damp, maybe the nicotine can seep into my pores in my fingers.
So far as smoking weed, thats hands down just stupid (sorry) unless there is a REAL reason for it. Why risk it? Its only 9 months for u but a lifetime for ur unborn... but 2 each his own...

For the member that said that weed cures cancer, that could not be further from the truth. It is used to help the side effects of chemotheray. If weed "cured" cancer then this would be a whole different world we are living in. What the original member was asking is if she should lick the tobacco paper. She never said she was smoking anything. I would stay away from the tobacco papers just in case until you research it more.

The active "fun" ingredient in pot is THC and it does soak through human skin; have him roll his own

No, you should not be around any of that stuff for several reasons. Does he need the weed for medical reasons? If not, then neither of you should be around it, especially if you are pregnant. Not just for the health reasons, but also for the legal reasons if you are living in a state where weed is illegal. The last thing you guys need is someone in jail. If he has to have it, then tell him to roll his own damn weed. I do not want to be judgemental when I don't know the situation at all, but from my perspective, from only reading the question, the money could be spent else where to get ready for the baby. Hope all goes well. :)
