Q: Holy dry mouth!

I'm almost 32wks pregnant and I had a cold maybe 2 weeks ago. Ever since then, every night I try to sleep I wake up around 3am with a literal dry mouth. Completely dried out. And it feels like my salivary gland won't produce any saliva. I have to drink water. From that point on, every 30 minutes I wake up with the same thing. I'm drinking 3 water bottles a night, and I'm not getting enough sleep at all. I drink more than enough water during the day time. I've tried turning off my fan and running a humidifier right by my head. I've tried bottled water, tap water, and propel water. I've tried dry mouth mouthwash. Nothing is helping. Any body had anything like this? I'm sure it's a pregnancy thing, but I'm really just needing some relief, asap. It's driving me crazy and I'm just so tired. Also, just an FYI, my glucose testing came back just fine. Please. Send help lol

Do you have a humidity monitor to check the room air? I have a little thing that's a combo thermometer/hydrometer (I think that's the word for humidity monitor), and I adjust my humidifier based on what it says. It's definitely drier in the winter here, but your problem might be related to the cold. Are you sleeping with your mouth closed? You might try nasal strips or something to make sure your nostrils are staying open at night.
