Update: went to the doctor everything seem to be ok ;) heartbeat was normal. but still didn't understand the hpt. why it was lighter then the control line but i guess a line is a line. just be glad we got one. :)

no it will be lighter coz apparantly once you are far along in your pregnancy the large amount of hcg can actually cause a false negative!

The darkness of the line doesn't matter. As long as there's a line it's positive. No need to worry :)

the darkness of the line also depends on how much dye is in the test to begin with. As long as it's still positive it's all good.

i done the samething today and im 7weeks and one day pregnant and the line wasn't as dark i thought it should be. but it was there it show up right when the test began. i see the doctor thursday for an ultrasound i pray everything is ok .

Don't let the "darkness" of the line concern you. Unless you are having symptoms that could indicate a problem, everything is fine (a lot of times it depends on the test you are taking). HCG lowers slightly in your 2nd trimester but you should still register a + on any hpts. As long as you still have a + and no negative symptoms don't freak out:-)
