Q: Going in for an emergency ultrasound in the morning & my nerves are completely wrecked

So I'm being sent in for an ultrasound at the hospital at 8 am to make sure that everything is ok with baby and to check my cervix for insufficiency. They just decided this today due to my cervix being so low and soft. I'm completely nervous and so scared that something might be wrong but I'm wishing for the best. has anyone else dealt with anything like this and how did it turn out? I guess I just really need some support

I appreciate the support :) so when I got to the hospital they decided that it was too early to check cervical length and said they dont normally do that until around 16 weeks, but they didnt seem too concerned. They were about to cancel and just send us home but I convinced the radiologist to let us atleast see the baby, and sure enough there was baby all bouncy with a strong heartbeat...so thats good. I go in for my next prenatal appt tomorrow morning and they're going to do my full physical check up, so so far so good. fingers crossed for a happy outcome this time. thanks for the responses :)
