Q: what do you think of...?

what do you think of the name Amaelie?
(it is apperantly made up by me, as I can't seem to find the name online anywhere. lol)
But I first saw the name Amelie and liked it, but not the way it was said ah-mel-ee.
So, I changed it to Amalie. But wanting it to sound like ah-may-lee. But didn't think that when someone say 'Amalie' they would say it how I wanted. So I changed it to Amaelie thinking that people would say it how I want it said if it had "mae" in it. lol.... What do you think? Do you think its a good name? or do you think it's too far fetched? I'm not usually one to like "made up names".... feel free to be honest. I don't want to name my baby girl a weird name. Thanks. :)

I like it, but have to admit even spelled Amaelie, I still pronounced it Amalie in my head. Maybe change the spelling to Amaylee or something like that. It's a pretty name, but she will forever be correcting the pronunciation and spelling of her name. My daughter will be too, I spelled hers an untraditional way of the name Shaelynn.
