I started off with a pudge, I was never the skinny one, now my belly is getting bigger, though I have not yet put on one pound, I ended up loosing some weight. But now my belly is big! but I dont feel like I look pregnant, I just feel HUGE! For the past couple weeks I have gone shopping for some shirts that are really loose around the belly...and I cant find any that I feel comfortable in. Its just depressing. I have 3 shirts that I can wear... And being emotional doesnt help. Im almost 19 weeks, cant wait till she pops out a lot more.

THis is so nice to read and know that we are not alone!! I am 6 weeks and 1 day and I have been feeling so gross! lol, I know I'm carrying a baby but my apetite is up but my energy is low so I eat and sleep and that is about all! lol - I have heard that by the 2nd trimester your energy gets better so that is what I am looking forward too! Also, I just looked into this book called pregnancy without pounds - it is really good! I would encourage anyone to read it!! it will help you with all of these concerns and if you get the core one too it gives you exercises that you can do that are safe and specifically for pregnancy! go to www.pregnancywithoutpounds.com - it cost about $37 for both the core, exercise manual and the 94 page Pregnancy without pounds book! Hope this helped and thank you for posting!! :)

I have felt the same way because I was thin my whole life then I went into depression and lost a lot of weight and then since I am pregnant I am gaining it again. I look at the mirror and feel so ugly sometimes and think I dont look good at all, my hubby always tells me that I still look beautiful. But if you want to feel good just think that you are carrying a baby inside of you. And about you loosing the weight after the baby you loose a few pounds when you leave the hospital and then if you plan on breastfeeding that will make you lose weight as well. Also you will be able to lose weight after the baby is born by doing just daily activities because your body changes, plus most of the weight u have is the placenta right now aand amniotic fluid as well as more blood and water, so think of it as your body performing a miracle!

I'm feeling the same!
And not only are you not alone.. I'm glad to hear I am not either.

I am usually quite small (in height..) and have always had to watch weight very closely to keep from looking like a cube..
now no matter what I do I keep gaining - and it's not just in my tummy but all over! NONE of my pretty clothes fit anymore and buying more is not an option for me now..

Sorry I don't have advice.. just wanted to say that I feel your pain!!

Yes mam.. I feel the same way, but i have a supportive man who makes me feel good about myself even though it doesn't always work. I lost like 40 pounds and worked so hard to get my body back after having kids and I was sooooo bummed when I look at my weight now. I quit smoking when I found out I was pregnant and gained 10 pounds! I about died.. Then to gain 30 right now and not have any of my bigger clothes suck. I have never had acne like bad. With this baby my whole chin breaks outs and I get black heads.. I feel like poop.. So you are not alone, but you will lose at least 10 when you leave the hospital =)
Good luck and I hope you feel better <3
