Q: I was sure my instinct was right, wrongo !! now i feel completely unprepared :/ and very overwhelmed

I was so sure I was having a boy this pregnancy but at our ultrasound yesterday we found out we are having a precious baby girl ...im soo excited !! but now i feel very unprepared we have a color scheme but nothing else... our baby at this point is nameless :( as the name i thought i would use just doesnt seem right, so for now as a joke we are calling her Derfa Jane hehe I dont like the idea of just calling her baby or little one. How do I help myself feel more prepared and less overwhelmed ???

I thought it was a boy too...but she's a girl...I'm 26 wks and have no color scheme, no registry...don't worry! It'll be fine! Congratulations on your lil girl...

My daughter didnt have a full name till like a week or 2 before she was born......i got all my worrying done my 4 weeks before she was due. Having my shower and washing all her clothes setting her room up just the way i wanted was just wat i needed to do. I dont know how far along you are but i do understand how you feel. Gl
