Q: Normal pain at 28wks??

I'm 28 weeks gone and have had shooting pains up my back, with a really having feeling that feels like a really need to go....but don't and getting increased discharge (sorry tmi). I've been told our baby will be fairly big, but still with it being quite early on i doubt i should feel that much pressure. Anybody experienced anything similar.

I have really terrible pains that shoot up my back and down my hips, especially when getting up from lying or sitting down. I'm carrying twins, and that pain has been attributed to the weight in my uterus, so if they're telling you the baby weighs alot, that could actually be it.

As far as feeling the 'pressure' of needing to urinate, and then not being able to, I would have your OB check to make sure you don't have a UTI- I had one early on in pregnancy it felt exactly like that, and they cleared it up within a week. Good luck!
