Q: How fast should heart be at 6 weeks?

My dr told me during u/s that baby heart bpm was 100. Is that too low for 6 weeks 5 days?

At 6W2D ours was 114 (we don't know what the baby is yet but the last 2 heart beats were 175 and 173). My doctor said anything over 90 is considered a good heart beat, the higher the stronger. I've also heard that before 8 weeks if you hear or see a heart beat that is really really good too. 2 weeks later is when ours jumped to 175 and the doctor was happy to see it was getting stronger. So at your next appt you should see an increase and that is what your looking for. Congrats and Good Luck!!

as soon as it gets closer to 90 your dr will be worried, but until then everything is perfectly where he should be

we had a heart rate of 152 at nine weeks. but have faith those docs will tell you when something is wrong. congrats and good luck

ours at 6 weeks 5 days was 132 (( babies heart beat for us has always been a tad higher than we expected... were having a girl ! )) between 90-110 is considered a good heart beat for so early in pregnancy
