Q: Breast augmentation and breastfeeding..

I had breast augmentation surgery 2 years ago and am now concerned about my ability to breastfeed..
Should I have this checked out?

The implants was done behind the muscle (i.e. behind the glands) but I am still concerned.
Will I just have to wait and see?

Have you had any breast surgury and did it affect your ability to breastfeed?
thanks!

Great question! I was wondering this same thing. I had my surgery 6 years ago. I am 5 weeks prego now and I am concerned because I don't have any tenderness or pain, which is supposed to be one of the first signs. Nipples are sensitive though... I will take that as a good sign.

I had a breast augmentation almost 10 yrs ago, same as you behind the muscle. I have since had 2 boys that I was able to breastfeed with absolutely no problems. I am planning to breastfeed again. You should have no problem; not from the implants anyway ;) best of luck
