Q: what was that pain?

I am 4 weeks 4 days pregnant. Yesterday when I went to bed at night a severe pain started that kept me all night and the following day until 11 am. It was coming from the middle lower abdomen and it was continuous .It felt like pulling but constant.Today I am ok. What could it be?

I'm 7 weeks and yes the pain is common it's the round ligaments loosening up and getting ready for the growing baby. If the pains are unbearable and you feel it's not right go see a Dr. in the event it's ectopic ( embryo not in the uterus but fallopian tube which is life threatening). With an ectopic one starts to bleed as the pain increases. Good luck...

I am 4 weeks, but I've had pains like that. I hear it's your uterus growing... Mine felt like period or ovulation cramps. It kept switching sides. It's been better now though.
