Q: Breast pump on registry?

Ladies do you think that it is embarrassing to put the Medela breast pump on my gift registry? Not because it is like 300.bucks but because it's a breast pump. I just want to put it on because close family members may buy it. I am having a shower with women only. Please give me your honest opinions. Thank you :).

Agree w/the other ladies! Definitely register for it! Not like you're demonstrating how to use it there ;) I have that one on my registry too.

I've seen plenty of my friends and family do this. A friend of mine actually gave me her pump to use, so I registered for all the accessories. I don't see any problem with it:-)

Especially if people know you are intending on breast feeding, it is kind of expected. Don't worry about it...if someone is grossed out by the idea, that is on them, not you. If you were planing to formula feed, they wouldn't think twice about formula related products. Be confident in your choice, and they should follow.
