Q: Question below

I was told because my baby heartbeat was 156 that means it's a boy. Can someone shed some light on this issue for me please?

Thanks for the responses ladies. I go and get my ultra sound May 1st and I can't wait. This is our first child and it's truly a blessing. Good luck to you all and stay bless.

Every myth/predictor/indicator told me i was having a girl. I'm actually having a boy. Nothing is proven to suggest a particular gender, so whilst its fun to guess and speculate you just never know until its confirmed through ultrasound (or when its born obviously) lol :)

It's one of those old wive's tales about gender (just like the ones about the type of food that you are craving and where you are carrying the baby, etc). Faster heart rates are supposed to indicate the baby is a girl and slightly slower rates indicate boy. My baby's heartrate is usually above 150 and I am having a girl, but I know plenty of women who are having boys with similiar fetal heart rates. Don't read too much into it, you'll know soon enough:-)

There is honestly no relation to gender and heart rate. Generally speaking girls tend to have have heart rates over 145 boys under 145..but eaither gender can exhibit fast or slow heart beat
