Q: Finding out the gender early?

Hi ladies,
I am currently 14 w 5d. My next obgyn appointment is on Monday (2 days away). My anatomy ultrasound is scheduled for 5/21 when I will be 18 w 5d pregnant. I was thinking of asking my obgyn if there is any way that I can find out the gender before that ultrasound...I am wondering where I could even go other than my GYN office for an ultrasound primarily for the gender. Any suggestions??
Thanks!

3D Ultrasound, might not show up, but try.
If it doesn't, go to a clinic and get one on your 15,16,17 week-

I choose not to pay for an extra scan before the anatomy scan. They are able to do them at 16 weeks at a private 3d/4d place for about $150. My anatomy scan was at 19 weeks, so I figured I'd wait 3 extra weeks and save the $150. Up to you of course:-)

you are best to get a gender scan between 18-22 weeks. Anytime before then the genitals are not yet completely formed so it is difficult to determine the sex as they look similar.

I also used a 3d/4d place to find out the gender and it was not that expensive. depending on where you live they are usually easy to find.

I went to a 3D/4D place, I live in Vegas so they are everywhere! Most places here do them as early as 14 weeks. I did mine at 15w1d and it was a really clear image. My ultrasound with the doctor wasnt until I was 22 weeks, so I couldnt wait that long since I had the option. I only paid $55 for the gender check, pics, 20 minute video and such. At the doctors I paid like $180 per ultrasound, its crazy!
