Q: High HCG at 4W2D?

I had beta hcg done at 10 dpo and they were 32.5. I had my last one done at 16 dpo and they were 1052. Does that seem high? Maybe twins? I have also heard that HCG level could be higher with girls... any theories? Thanks so much!!!

My friend had high numbers and the doctor told her it could be twins! When she went back her numbers had dropped and she is having a healthy pregnancy :)

does seems a wee bit high (doubling time about 29 hrs), but things are so variable at the beginning I wouldn't read too much into it yet. :) seems like good healthy numbers and a good healthy baby... or babies! ;)
