Q: Bumps, Bellies & Bloating!

I'm just getting anxious to see/feel my bump! I'm 9 weeks today & I *think* I can feel a bump when I lay down but that could be my bladder too.... I'm a big girl (size 18 to start) so it's hard to tell, in the mornings my belly is down but by the end of the day I'm so bloated I look about 20 weeks in stead of 9! I'm suffering all-day-nausea too so it's a constant battle of "do I eat or not? which will make it better?"

Not really a question, just looking for comiserates ;-)

Even at 12 weeks the baby is still very tiny and so you wont have a bump just yet but it is very commen to be bloated during pregnancy i didnt have that bloated with my first but with this pregnancy i get very bloated and it is uncomfortable but it should pass as the pregnancy progresses.

Okay, not to be rude at all, I was once a size 16 so I know the ins & outs of being HEAVIER :) but because of your size its actually harder to see your pregnancy until later on. The Bump that you feel is definitely not your bladder, they say your uterus can be felt just above the pubic bone at 12 wks,but everyone is different. I'm starting my 15th wk & didn't start to get a bump until my 13th wk & even then I can't see it until I lay flat. I'm guessing because of the extra fat thats on my stomach from my previous pregnancies lol We all show at different times & in different ways & I'm just as anxious as you to see that bump & I hate that I'm not showing, just looking bloated all day lol It'll show eventually :)

I remember those days....feeling all pregnant at 13, 14, 15 weeks and no one noticing :( Felt sad when someone said I wasn't showing. Then I seriously popped at 16 weeks (you can look at my belly bump pics).

I know! I've been maternity sweats around the house & started doing the rubber-band trick....not because I can't get into my clothes but ANY pressure on my stomach makes me nauseous! I've even had to change undie styles!!!

Week 4-5 were the only weeks that I was bloat free, after that its been all down hill. I'm 9 weeks and I could pass for 12-14 ( and I'm a small person to begin with so its very noticeable and its super uncomfortable :(
