Q: NT Scan

Hi Girls :)

Has anyone been able to find out the gender of their baby at their NT scan or 12 week scan? I know they don't normally do it until 18+ weeks but I was just curious!

Thankyou :)

Anything sooner than 16 weeks is not a for sure. The reason why most physicians wait until the 20 week marker is the unfinished state of the baby's organs. 16 weeks is when things are about finished and generally the bumps of the genitals are clearer.Anything sooner can be greatly off. There is a blood test that can tell sooner than 20weeks and has proven to be 95% accurate though!
