Walking, kegals :) lots of water, fresh fruits and veggies, and red raspberry leaf tea. Its hard, you need to gain something unless you are very overweight, but even then they expect at least 11 lb gain though that should be only in second and third trimesters. I was only supposed to gain 25 lbs max with my first and gained 40, though 30 came off right away I had to work off the last 10. I am supposed to gain 25 again this time but I bet it will be 40 again. Oddly my mom gained exactly the same in both her pregnancies, genetics does play a role but that shouldn't stop us from trying :D good luck to you and good luck to us all! Happy and healthy 9 months to you

I also have PCOS and after almost 2 years of trying, got pregnant in February! I had lost 30lbs, and didn't want to gain it back, so I've been keeping with drinking my water everyday, eating well, and instead of my regular workout routines, I've just been trying to walk everyday. Best of luck & congrats!!

From what I understand and what I've experienced so far (although I'm pretty new to this), one of the key things you can do is to drink a lot of water. It'll help you stay hydrated, reduced bloating and constipation, and also has helped me personally to curb my appetite. I try to drink a LOT (4-6 litres) of water (pre-pregnancy I drank 3-4 litres a day, so it's not as much extra as it sounds) and nibble on veggie sticks and apples when I'm hungry. Good luck and congrats!
