As someone who has played Kingdom Heart:*-) that was the first thought that came to my mind too when I saw the name Sora. There are several Kingdom Hearts games and they've been out for awhile (and I believe they are releasing a new one in the next few years), it's a very popular Disney role-playing game series. Sora is actually a male character on the games (but I always though it was more feminine name anyway). It's totally up to you, if you love the name go for it, but you may continue to hear the Kingdom Hearts reference from anyone who is familiar with the series. Sora is the protaganist in the series anyway and a good character...so there's really nothing negative about it;-) I know it will probably change the meaning, but you could always consider it as a middle name if it bugs you that much. At the end of the day, if you love the name and it seems perfect...go for it and don't worry about what others say:-)

Don't worry about what ppl are saying. In a few yrs, no one will remember the video game. I've never even heard of it myself. My mom hates the name we love...can't worry about it. Do what you want!

Im not sure what Kingdom Hearts is but by the time your daughter is school age or old enough for her to be questioned about it, im sure it will be long forgotten. Go with the name you love the most, or you will regret it. i names my son Phoenix, and i always get comments. people either LOVE it and go on and on how unique it is, or they say "you named him what ?" it doesnt bother me because we love the name and it seems perfect for him :)
