I am 4 weeks as well and I have been cramping too on and off throughout the day and the feel almost like AF cramps. I test BFP at 10 dpo 3 days ago and retested today to be sure and still BFP and the line was even darker. I am hoping they are normal too. I didn't have cramping like this with my last two pregnancies (2 girls) but then again they weren't planned and I didn't know so early either. So I know how you feel- kinda freaked out. Glad to hear from others that it seems normal as long as bleeding isn't present.

I'm 36 weeks now, but when I first got pregnant I had BAD cramps. I actually didn't find out until I was almost 6 weeks because I was cramping so horribly that I just "knew" that my period was about start and I couldn't be pregnant because my cramps usually aren't that bad before I start, but guess I was wrong lol. Its normal as long as you arn't bleeding though.

It's pretty normal unless you get any bleeding along with it. If you're concerned then always check with your physician :) I'm 12 weeks pregnant and I still get cramping from time to time. Best of luck :) xx

I have been reading about lots of women having cramping especially in the beginning, a rule of thumb is so long as you aren't bleeding and the cramps aren't worse than your normal AF cramps there isn't anything to worry about.

I'm 10 weeks, and I still get cramping. When I was 4 weeks the cramping was pretty bad, like bad menstrual cramps. Between constipation, round ligament pain, and your uterus growing to accomodate your little one, you will have some degree of cramping your entire pregnancy. But call your doctor just in case!
