Q: 7dpo 3 bfp!!! So wouldn't I only be a week pregnant? According to lmp I'd be 3wks2d is this possible

I thought for sure I was prego last month but after 14dpo and continuos bfn..I started spotting 3 days before af was due. Spotting continued for 2days then one day of normal bleeding and then vanished...so not like my normal af. I even tested until the first of this month (sept) and still bfn. Now supposedly 7-8 dpo I got my bfp! 3 of them!!! But isn't that too soon to even be testing?could I be having more than one??!!

This happened to my sis-in-law...she thought she had her period but it was implantation bleeding. It sounds to me like that is the spotting you experienced, it probably was implanation bleeding and not an actual period. Also, as far as getting all those bfn's...my current ob nurse just had her baby in March and she told me that she tested and got negative's until she was like 6 or 7 weeks along!! Then she finally got a positive. It can happen with some women...
Best thing to do is to go to the dr. It is too early now, but an u/s will help you date the pregnancy correctly.

My OB once told me that you're actually considered pregnant before you conceive- usually two weeks of your pregnancy are before you even ovulated. That would make your 3 weeks pregnant estimate accurate.

Don't they start counting from the beginning of your last period? So if you ovulated about 2 weeks into cycle and got bfp on 7 dpo, then you'd be three weeks. 3 weeks from period = 1 week "gestational age".

For me I tested BFP--very very faintly at 8dpo (evening of) and a little stronger at 10dpo AF due in two days. But I know my O date was correct (not early) as I have been tracking them even before we tried to conceive. so it is possible to bfp early. congrats!!!!

Have you been monitoring your ovulation points, it might be possible that you've ovulated sooner than you expected. But get yourself to a doctor anyway to make sure you're ok and Congrats x
