My ob is a male and he is amazing. He has been my gyneo for 6 years and delivered my dd 3 years ago. We have a great relationship and I trust him emencly I actually wouldnt go to a female or any other doctor. I really like him and he is a doctor not some random looking at my bits. Everything is very proffesional nothing to do with labour or gyno probs is ever sexual lol Sex shouldnt be an issue with the doctor as long as they have a good reccomendation and are in line with what u want in your birth and u trust their choices i wouldnt stress about their sex.

My OB is male and I've had him with all 3 of my pregnancies. At first I was a little uncomfortable having a male OB, but now I wouldn't trade him for anyone else.

Both of my OBGYNs have been males. I switched at 13 weeks this pregnancy to the second ob. I love him, he explains everything in detail, answers all our questions, even DH likes him.

I actually feel a little better about a man down there as opposed to a woman. I think that is because my OBGYN is a male and I've been seeing him for 11 years. My RE is a felmale. I love her but its just different when she goes poking around down there.

I also had a man deliver my first born. He was really great, i never had a problem. If you do go with the man, im sure you will feel more comfortable after you have an appointment with him. The vagina really is just another part to them! and i guess you could always switch if you didnt like him

Ive had 3 previous pregnancies and out of them only 1 was a women. I have a male gyn, and I have a different male OB and I like them. They look at womens parts all day long every day and its all the same. its just another part. I think regardless of man or women, the best dr. is the one to go with. Good luck.
