Q: Best Breast pump?!

Anyone have a good suggestion on breast pumps? I am looking at the Medela brand...I will be pumping quite a bit probably once I get back to work so I need something reliable. Any suggestions would be great!!!

I highly recommend the Medela Pump in Style Advanced. It's costly, but completely worth it. Some insurance companies cover pumps, so I'd look into that if cost is an issue. I pumped for a year with my son while I was at work and it never had any problems at all. It was very efficient. I could usually get 6-8oz in about five or so minutes.

Don't be worried if you get less. I responded VERY well to the pump, but not everyone does. Normal is about 1-2oz per breast. I'd check out kellymom for more information on pumping.

The Medela brand was recommended at the breast feeding class I went to. They have different models depending on how much you want to spend. All of which were recommended.
