While I do love vivian because its not as common.. I am a sucker for Emily as.. this was my top girl name pick as well. :) Just couldn't convince my hubby lol.

I like Vivian best, but am a bit biased: it is the same name as one of my dear childhood friends. Both sound lovely :)

heh i like both names but i am a name mixer (in my opinion lol) so if choosing becomes a real issue after a while just combine them...VIVEMILY(the second v is silent when pronoucing), or MILEYVIV. or MELVIVIAN... that way the characters that both names has is combined. just a thought to look into you don't have to listen just my opinion..

Vivian - its very rare!It's beautiful, classy and sweet! ... I love that name!1 I am not saying i don't like Emily, its just way more common these days!!
