Q: Is 18 weeks & 3 to 5 days good enough for Gender scan??

Alright I am DYING to know the gender, you have no idea how impatient I am.
It would normally wait till full 20 weeks to do the gender ultrasound buttttt there is this MASSIVE festival coming up with hundreds of booths to look at and Im excited to buy some cute ubique baby stuff there...And it happens to fall about a week before Im 20 weeks :( :(
It will kill me to go look at all the awesome handmade unique baby stuff and not get to buy anything..

So do you think 18 weeks is enough?? I only get the one scan so itd be horrid to not be able to tell..

You should get a 3d/4D ultrasound. They say they can tell anytime after 15 weeks. If your little one is hiding his or her bits then they have you come back free of charge. It's great to see his or her moving around in there with such detail. Good Luck

You should be fine at that point. Mine was at 19 weeks, but I know lots of others who have had accurate scans as early as 16 weeks.

Womb with a view guarantees a reading at 16 weeks! My scan is this Wednesday!!! Eeek!!!! :D

I am finding out Wednesday :). And I will be 16 weeks and 1 day. So no, 18+ weeks is not too early at all. Go for it girl!! And good luck

I found out at 16 weeks 5 days and it was reconfirmed at 21 weeks. I know that most say 18-20 weeks is best for a gender scan so yes you can definitely find out in the 18th week.. as long as he/she cooperates ;)

I found out at my first scan (12 weeks)in my first pregnancy they gave me 80% boy .......and they was right
